Current availability of places                                                                                                 

Although we would love to find room for everyone who wants to play, this is the situation at the moment:-

• We take complete beginners at Saturday ELLSO at the start of each September term. If you would like to learn a stringed instrument and have never played before, please do contact us as soon as possible to enquire. Early application is essential as places are limited!

• Occasionally there are spaces at Saturday ELLSO for players who have been learning for a while -  it is always worth contacting us to enquire.

• At present there is limited room for a few more violin, viola and double bass players in our Monday Evening IPE group, and a short waiting list for cello spaces. 

• We usually have spaces for String players (ELLSO Stage 5 or ABRSM Grade 6 upwards) in our Thursday evening Symphony Orchestra (PE), and we are looking to recruit French Horn players and some more brass and woodwind.
